Capitol City Consulting (CCC), LLC, North Carolina's leading Digital Forensics Firm, has been approved by the North Carolina State Bar to provide the legal community a CLE Approved Course on Digital Forensics on November 1, 2006. The CLE topic is “Understanding Digital Forensics: Untapped Potential Evidence” and provides legal professionals knowledge of how digital information can be retrieved, appropriate terminology, protocols for digital examinations, how to incorporate data in a legal setting and the ethics of utilizing Digital Forensics. The North Carolina State Bar has approved a total of 3.25 CLE Credits including 1 Hour of Ethics.

Capitol City Consulting has been providing training to North Carolina’s legal, corporate and government communities since 2002 under the leadership of Mr. Giovanni Masucci, President and Sr. Computer Examiner of CCC. Mr. Masucci is the presenter for the CLE on November 1 and has been committed to educating on digital forensics since he began training law enforcement on “Computer Forensics” four years ago. Since the launch of CCC as a provider of training, Mr. Masucci has personally trained on numerous topics to include Digital/Computer Forensics, Digital Recovery, Testifying in Court, IT Security/Security Compliance, Ethics and Digital Forensics, Industrial Espionage, Identity Theft, Covert Intelligence and Federal and State Laws relative to Digital Forensics. Mr. Masucci has proudly conducted training on behalf of the North Carolina Bar Association as a CLE instructor since 2003.

Mr. Masucci has made additional strides in his commitment to contribute to training in the field of Digital Forensics by instituting the expansion of CCC’s Training and Education Division. CCC is now independently sponsoring the first of many anticipated CLE sessions as well as training for corporate, academic and government organizations. Additionally, CCC is now pursuing industry-specific educational credits to further meet the needs of professional communities learning applicable issues relative to Digital Forensics.
