Description: Classes begin at 8:00am and run until 4pm each day. Every student will have their own PC Workstation and all training materials provided.

Digital Forensics and Foundational Encase™ Training Course (CCC- CFFC06)

Each day is designed to allow the student to understand the structure and then practically apply that knowledge.

• Legal Search Warrants, Consent Search, Courtroom Testimony
• First Responder Responsibilities
• Recognizing computer components and peripherals
• Documenting the Crime Scene
• Lab and Equipment
• The suspect computer
• Your Lab Computer
• Forensic Media process
• Acquisition procedures with Encase™ VS 6
• Imaging, Crossover cables, previewing
• Scope of searches, types of searches, Enscripts™
• Verifying your results with other forensic tools
• Practical live exercises utilizing Encase™
• Testifying in Court

Students will gain knowledge on both theory & application of course concepts.
